How Time Flies....Two Months Old

It is so hard to believe that our little girl is just over two months old. The past two months have been incredible and very fast as she is changing and growing each day.

We had our 2 month check up yesterday and Leah weighed 8 lb. 12 oz and 21 1/4" long...both in the 10% percentile. Looking at her parents and grandparents, she has no chance of being a tall girl. That's okay, we love all of her petite features.

This will be my attempt to catch everybody up on the past month. I hope that this will be the last "BIG" blog and that I can stay on top of it better, even though I'll be heading back to school.

Many things have happened since my brothers' visit. We had another visit from Gram-moo, Grand Pappy (Sarah's parents), Uncle Chris, and Uncle Bryce. All visits were much needed, but way to short. We traveled to Michigan for Kelli's wedding and to meet the Great Grandparents. While we were up there we had lots of visitors from both sides of the family and friends. Miss Leah was a hit!

Over the past several weeks in Texas, Leah has begun to smile and coo non-stop. She almost laughs. This has been a true joy for everyone. Maybe that's why I can't make it to the computer. :)

We also had pictures made as a family on August 16 th (1 month). We had a blast and loved every minute of the 3 hour session. After seeing maternity pictures from a friend, I looked into having newborn pictures done. I highly recommend, www.loveyoursmilephotography.com to any family or couple. Tiffany is relatively new, but does a great job for the right reasons and the right price.

I will post new pictures this weekend, so stay tuned to see how much our little girl has changed.
