Flutters
Tomorrow I will be officially 18 weeks pregnant. However, my true exciting news comes from feeling my first official "flutters" today. I was standing in my classroom, placing goodies in the mailboxes...when this crazy feeling grabbed my attention. I new immediately that everything else prior was all in my head. Today, was the first day I got to feel my little one!! What an amazing feeling and true miracle!

January 2008 - 13 Weeks
January 2008 - Here are two pictures from our second sonogram. After debating whether or not to have some of the prenatal testings done, I was sold once they said the testing was done through blood work and "sonogram". Any opportunity to see our little baby.....Here is a great body shot! Look carefully, I am waving for all to see (that would be the lil' paw print by the face). At this point I was 13 weeks along.

First Flutters and Week 16
During this past week at school I felt a "new sensation" in my stomach (several times). Trying not to jump the gun too quickly, I am patiently waiting for more action from our lil' one.
Beyond the possible flutters, everything is going very well. My energy level comes and goes, depending on my day. I continue to feel good with no sickness or aversions (I am so blessed). Taking yoga with my sister-in-law, Missy, has been a great addition. I am looking foward to making both classes this week.
With our bedding set complete, we are narrowing our choices for the best furniture set. JCPenney is in the lead as of now! Now that I have seen several of my friends finished nurseries, I am very anxious to get the started. As we begin the decoration process, I will be sure to take pictures.
This Friday will be my next 4-week appointment with Dr. Allen. I will be sure to post an update next weekend or later this week.

Our Adventure Begins
Welcome Family and Friends! With the expansion of my belly and our family, Chad and I will use this blog to keep you updated on the latest news of our lil' one.
This past November we got the exciting news that we were going to be parents! It's so hard to believe that I am now almost 17 weeks along. Chad and I are very excitied about the new journey that we have begun and will continue to experience as parents. Going against what I believe is the norm for today, we have decided to keep the sex of our lil' one a surprise.
